I've been a Mopar Rebellion club member for several years. The first car I ever remember seeing was a 1969 Plymouth Road Runner when I was about 4 or 5 years old while sitting in my parents’ 1964 Plymouth Fury. I've been a Road Runner (car and cartoon) and Mopar fan ever since.

I still have the first car I ever bought - a 1974 Dodge Challenger 340 A/T that I got on April 26th (426), 1985. I've had numerous other cars over the years including:

1974 Dodge Dart                                   1972 Dodge Challenger                         1971 Plymouth Duster                    1973 Dodge Dart

1968 Plymouth Road Runner                1971 Dodge Demon 340                        1976 Plymouth Duster                    1969 ½ Plymouth Road Runner

1977 Dodge Warlock                             1976 Dodge Aspen R/T                         1957 Dodge D100 pickup               1977 Dodge D100

1977 Dodge Aspen SE                          1967 Dodge Dart GT Conv                    1980 Plymouth Volare

…plus a few others I can't remember right now.

I currently have a 1971 Plymouth Duster 340 that I took over when my father passed away a few years ago. It was a 1 owner car that was completely restored by us around 1989. It's still one of the nicest Dusters on the planet. I really should drive it more often but due to the circumstances...I prefer to keep it safe at home.

My current project is a 1970 Plymouth Road Runner that I bought as a complete basket case from a fellow club member in 2000. The entire restoration has been a nightmare so far but thankfully it's almost done now. When I get time I'll update the story on my "member projects" page.

I recently bought a 1969 Road Runner from an old friend of mine. It's a really clean driver that has all its original body panels, a rebuilt 383, a rebuilt 727 trans and a few nice options. It might eventually turn into the Hemi, 4spd car I've always wanted, but in the meantime I really enjoy driving it just the way it is.

This is me as a kid. Top left: Yes, that's a real 1969 Road Runner magazine ad I had hanging on my wall from the time I was about 4. Top right: This is of my 7th birthday party in 1972 and yeah that's an original 70 Super Bee shirt that I have on. Bottom left: Yes, that's a real Plymouth jacket that I have on while sitting in my Road Runner pedal car! Bottom right: I'm sitting in the pedal car (pre-stickers) wearing a white racing suit that said "Petty".

Oh well, I guess that's it for now. I really like being a member of the Mopar Rebellion club. It's small and family oriented and we have some really great guys and gals. Thanks!!
